With Ticket Stubs!!!
Since we started dating Derek and I have saved most, if not all our ticket stubs. The great thing about doing this, I can go back to that very moment and remember all the great laughs we had just by holding a ticket stub.
Not sure if anyone else does this, but if you can, you should. Even if it’s a stub from your first baseball game or favorite movie of the year. They’re great little mementos.
So here is a recap of our year through our ticket stubs. What does your recap of 2012 look like?
‘Til the next time,

Walt Disney World Vacation for our 2nd anniversary
I catch Derek watching this movie all the time at home. Love my geeky bf!
First time at the Newseum, with our good friends Eddy and Hugh.
Got the chance to be a part of the White House Egg Roll!!!!
Still pondering on how Queen Andromeda ended up with blonde hair. In the first movie, she had dark brown locks. Did they have hair dye back then?
Back to back days at Disneyland with my family. However, Derek didn’t take the trip with me. Disneyland was a nice break from visiting Nanay at the hospital. She suffered a stroke and I flew home to be with her. I got to say my last good-bye.
Spent the night quoting the movie. “Hulk… smash.” “Puny god.”
I AM MERIDA AND I’LL BE SHOOTING FOR MY OWN HAND!!!!!! – Derek will tell you that I’m just a little kid and love watching Disney movies any day of the week. My honey knows me so well!!!
Our first baseball game together!
Went to the theatre with Derek’s brother, Joshua
Dinner and a movie! A fun movie at that. It’s our typical date.
The best theme song ever. I love Adele!!!!! (Side note – we carried in our own coffee and were not stopped by the ticket dude.)
My brother took my family to Disneyland for my birthday. My first birthday without my Nanay. I miss her every single day.
Anyone else thought Daniel Day Lewis did a spectacular job as “Abe Lincoln”? He’s a devout method actor, so I’m intrigued to hear how he got into character.
Probably one of my favorite movies from this year. Derek and I woke up early to catch this one. (Side note – we brought our own coffee and were told we couldn’t bring it in… We brought it anyway. If you don’t serve coffee, don’t ask me to throw mine away.)
