Last year we went to Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween party and loved it. Lil Bean had a great time meeting her favorite Disney characters in their Halloween costumes. Despite being only 1.5 yrs old and passing out before the nighttime spectacular and fireworks, we thought overall it was a successful trip for Lil Bean. So much so that we decided to purchase tickets to this year’s Oogie Boogie Bash at Disney California Adventure.
I think the fun part about special events at Disneyland is all the thoughtfulness they put into them. From decorations to food to characters = everything is AMAZING. I don’t like to admit it, but it’s what I aspire to when planning parties; the attention to detail is on point.
This year’s Halloween theme was Toy Story. Lil Bean watched Toy Story 2 and could not stop talking about Jessie, Woody, Buzz, and her friends. Side note: I think it’s absolutely adorable when she says “my friends” when talking about Disney characters.
Here are some fun photos from our night. It was such a fun trip. But also bittersweet for us because it was also our last trip to Disneyland for the year and as annual passholders. Since we now live in Virginia we won’t be renewing our passes in January.
(We may consider picking up passes to Disney World though depending on finances for the new year. Stay tuned!!!)
I regret not taking any photos of our candy haul. We came back with sooooo much candy. It was insane. Of course, we had to sort them with Lil Bean’s peanut allergies, but hey, more peanut M&Ms for me!!! =)
‘Til the next time.
